Reflections

Nelson Mandela

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It isour light, not our darkness, that frightens us.
We ask ourselves,
Who am I to be brilliant
Actually who are we not to be.

You are a childof nature.
Your playing small doesn't serve the world,
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other
people won'tfeel insecure around you.
We are born tomake manifest the gloryof nature that is
Within us: it'swithin everyone.
And as we let ourown lightshine, we unconsciouslygive
Otherspermission to dot he same.
As we are liberated fromour own fear,
Ourpresence automatically liberates others.
