The Luckiest Man In The World

Success

I don’t know why I’m feeling a little unloved,
It’s not that I have reason, though reason is seldom used.
I’m the luckiest man in the world, I know,
Just sometimes lost and confused.

I have no right to whinge, nor to ever complain,
Your love is totally sustaining, I should feel no hunger at all.
I’m the luckiest man in the world, I know,
Whether or not you call.

So if I bleat again and point the finger at you,
Treat my words with utter disdain.
For I’m the luckiest man in the world, I know,
And, as usual, it’s me that’s to blame.
